PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device and a method for operating the electronic device that can execute simple and rapid operations to a graphical interface on the basis of an eye-tracking technique.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an electronic device and a method for operating the electronic device. The electronic device includes the steps of: highlighting every operation area of a graphical interface in a scan mode; displaying a group interface for a selected area in a display unit when a trigger signal is received and setting the selected area to be the highlighted one of the operation areas when the trigger signal is received; and detecting the eye movement of a user by an eye-movement detecting module and selecting and then executing one of a plurality of functional options of the group interface on the basis of the eye movement. |
