PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bidirectional power conversion device that attains both improvement of power conversion efficiency and reduction in cost.SOLUTION: A power conversion device includes: a capacitor 16 connected to connection terminals 21a and 21b; a full-bridge circuit 15 connected to the connection points of the connection terminals 21a and 21b and the capacitor 16; a filter circuit 12 connected to connection terminals 11a and 11b; a half-bridge circuit 13 connected to the connection points of the connection terminals 11a and 11b and the filter circuit 12; a reactor 14 connected between middle points of each bridge of the full-bridge circuit 15 and the half-bridge circuit 13; a voltage sensor 19 detecting a DC voltage applied between the DC-side connection terminals 21a and 21b; a voltage sensor 17 detecting an AC voltage applied between the AC-side connection terminals 11a and 11b; and a control device switchingly controlling switching elements Q3 to Q6 included in the full-bridge circuit and reverse-blocking IGBTs Q1p, Q1n, Q2p, and Q2n included in the half-bridge circuit. |
