A panel system comprising: a first panel ; a second panel; a lower profile and an upper profile which are substantially parallel and between which the first and the second panels can be placed one after the other and in parallel with each other, and to which the first and the second panels are connected for opening and/or moving. The panel system further comprises a supporting member which is fastened to the first panel and placed at the lower profile, separate from the lower profile. For supporting the first panel, the supporting member is configured to engage the second panel. In an example, the supporting member is forked or comprises two substantially parallel protrusions.
