[Class 126] The frame 33 carrying a broiler pan is supported in a broiling compartment by the door 15 in such a manner as to be adjustable to any of a plurality of elevations, in each of which it lies horizontally, and for this purpose it engages and is supported at its front end by brackets 30, which also control its longitudinal movement relative to the door 15, and has arms 37 which are pivotally attached to it at points spaced from its front end and which extend forwardly to the brackets 30. These brackets have slots 31 provided with seats 32. Pins 36 on the frame 33 move in the slots into any of the seats 32, which are so arranged that the frame 33 remains horizontal. If required to prevent distortion of the frame 35 during movement, arms 44 on a bar 43 rotating in the brackets 30 engage in slots 46 in brackets 45 on the frame 33. To facilitate movement of the frame, handles 40 integral with the brackets 45 are provided. The door 15 is carried by rods 16 slidable in tubes 18, and its forward motion is limited by a rod 21 with an enlarged end 24.. In another form, in which the. slots 31 are without seatings 32, a rod with arms 76, similar to the rod 43 and arms 44, is utilized to obtain the vertical adjustment of the frame. The rod and arms 76 are rotated by a screw.83 and nut 82, which engages a U-shaped yoke 81 fixed to the rod. Rotation of the arms 76 causes the frame to move up or down.
