PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device realizing a more convenient focus operation using a distance to a subject.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: a focus lens which has a focusing position and forms a subject image of a subject; an imaging sensor which generates imaging data by picking up the subject image; and a control unit which controls the focus lens. The control unit operates so as to determine a controlled variable for the focus lens in a second exposure period after a first exposure period, the controlled variable controlling a moving speed of the focusing position, on the basis of the imaging data generated by the imaging sensor by picking up the subject image in the first exposure period. Furthermore, the control unit operates so that the image sensor picks up the subject image while moving the focusing position at the moving speed corresponding to the determined controlled variable in the second exposure period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
