PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-base ink for inkjet recording, using a pigment that can suppress irregularity in the form of white stripes (banding) without decreasing an optical density (OD value).SOLUTION: The water-base ink for inkjet recording comprises a self-dispersion type pigment and water. The water-base ink includes di-2-ethylhexyl sulfosuccinic acid or its salt (compound A) and at least one compound B selected from the group consisting of a compound expressed by general formula (B1), a compound expressed by chemical formula (B2) and a compound expressed by general formula (B3). In general formula (B1), c is 1 or 2. In general formula (B3), d is an integer of 1 to 3. |
