PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device server capable of recovering transfer error incurred along with undulation in data transfer amount due to a delay in network, capable of maintaining data transfer amount to be guaranteed in isochronous transfer and improving network durability of isochronous output transfer in the isochronous output transfer in a device server to which a device is locally connected and a control method for the same.SOLUTION: In a device server connected to a client through a network and to which a device carrying out isochronous transfer is locally connected, when an isochronous output transfer request is received from a client, the requested transfer data is buffered, isochronous output transfer is carried out to the device to which is locally connected and when the isochronous output transfer result is neither normal completion or error incapable of being recovered, isochronous output transfer is carried out again for the buffered transfer data. |
