A pipe pressure testing apparatus for failure testing a section of an elongated pipe is provided. The apparatus includes a plurality of spherical bodies disposed within and filling the section of elongated pipe and leaving a void space within the section of elongated pipe. A first end cap is attached to and seals a first end of the elongated pipe. A second end cap is attached to and seals a second of the elongated pipe. And a test fluid line is in fluid communication with the void space to fill the void space with a testing fluid. |
