摘要 A neurostimulation (NS) lead configured to provide NS therapy to nervous tissue. The NS lead includes a lead body having an active side and a posterior side that face in generally opposite directions. The NS lead includes an array of electrodes provided on the active side and configured to face the nervous tissue and provide the NS therapy to the nervous tissue. The NS lead also includes a non-planar contour formed in the active side. The non-planar contour includes a plurality of slopes that form a morphological feature. The morphological feature is one of a projection or a depression that extends along a designated path on the active side.

A neurostimulation (NS) lead configured to provide NS therapy to nervous tissue, the NS lead comprising: a lead body having a first edge and a second edge, the lead body having an active side and a posterior side that face in generally opposite directions; an array of electrodes provided on the active side and configured to face the nervous tissue and provide the NS therapy to the nervous tissue; the active side of the lead body having a first planar portion at the first edge and a second planar portion at the second edge; and a non-planar contour formed in the active side, the non-planar contour including a plurality of slopes that form a morphological feature, the morphological feature being one of a projection or a depression that extends along a designated path on the active side intermediate the first planar portion and the second planar portion; and a first electrode of the array of electrodes positioned on the first planar portion and a second electrode of the array of electrodes positioned on one of the plurality of slopes of the non-planar contour.
