or more light-emitting diodes, the converting element comprising: a matrix material and at least one phosphor,
whereinthe converting element further comprises a component, which is either a thermochromic dye or a phase change medium,whereinthe component is a phase change medium which is crystalline and strongly reflective at room temperature and which is amorphous and more weakly reflective above a phase transition temperature that is greater than room temperature, andwhereinboth the phosphor and the component are distributed in the matrix material of the converting element.
