The invention relates to a medium-, high- or very high-voltage current circuit breaker, comprising at least one breaking chamber and an outer casing in which the breaking chamber is arranged. The circuit breaker comprises an exhaust cover (40) forming a part of the outer wall of the breaking chamber (12), the exhaust cover being located in the space (13) and defining, on the inside, a gas circulation chamber (31). According to the invention, the exhaust cover (40) comprises at least one movable portion (40') that is movable under the effect of the pressure of the gases inside the gas circulation chamber (31), in such a way as to make the volume of same extensible. |
