The invention relates to a method for extracting at least one first and one second blood component contained in a primary bag (2) of a bag system (1) which also includes at least one satellite bag (3) for collecting the first blood component in fluid communication with the primary bag (2), and a satellite bag (4) for collecting the second blood component arranged on the flow path defined between the primary bag (2) and the satellite bag (3), said method including the steps of: restricting the satellite bag (4) to a first volume; compressing the first bag (2) such as to extract the first blood component and transfer same at least partially into the satellite bag (3) passing by the satellite bag (4) restricted to the first volume; after extracting the first blood component, restricting the satellite bag (4) to a second volume; continuing to compress the primary bag (2) such as to extract the second blood component and transfer same at least partially into the satellite bag (4) restricted to the second volume. |
