[Problem] To provide a communication apparatus and a communication method that enable a reduction in communication overhead caused by using a block ACK. [Solution] This communication apparatus is provided with a communication unit that transmits a first frame including a request parameter for a block acknowledgement (ACK) and data and that receives a second frame including a response parameter for the block ACK and an acknowledgement to the data. Another communication apparatus is provided with a communication unit that receives the first frame including the request parameter for the block acknowledgement (ACK) and the data and that transmits the second frame including the response parameter for the block ACK and the acknowledgement to the data. |
