摘要 The invention relates to an optical sensor which is used to measure at least one characteristic feature of a liquid and/or gaseous medium. By means of at least one light source, light is introduced into at least one optical guide (12, 21 to 24), which has at least one measurement surface. The optical sensor further has at least one light receiver. The optical guide (12, 21 to 24) is a ring resonator, into which light is outcoupled from a waveguide (11) and in which a mode profile corresponding to the outcoupled light component circulates, and the path radius and/or effective refractive index of which is changed by deposits (B) on the measurement surface. The transmission spectrum of the mode profile is determined by the light receiver. The ring resonator (12, 21 to 24) sits on a carrier (10), which is arranged on at least one temperature-setting element (27). The temperature of the ring resonator (12, 21 to 24) can be set by means of the at least one temperature-setting element. The evaluating device has the optical sensor, which is arranged in a measurement chamber for the medium to be measured, which measurement chamber is accommodated in a housing. The sensor is connected to the light source and to an evaluating unit, which feeds the evaluated signals to the temperature-setting element (27).
