According to the present invention, when liquid fuel is supplied to a charge layer to produce sintered ores, combustion efficiency of the liquid fuel is improved and productivity of sintered ores is improved. The charge layer is formed by charging, onto a circulating pallet, a sintering raw material containing an iron ore and charcoal material. The charcoal material in the charge layer is ignited in an ignition furnace and air is sucked from below the pallet, so that a sintered ore is produced. Oxygen-enriched air having an oxygen concentration of 25-31% by volume and the liquid fuel atomized so as to have a droplet diameter of 100 μm or less are supplied from above the charge layer. |
