Disclosed are an image unlocking method and a mobile terminal, comprising: acquiring M sets of touch parameters of M instances of touch unlock operations of a user with respect to a screen lock image displayed in a display screen, where the screen lock image has no unlock prompt information, and M is a positive integer; determining the order of touch positions and the order of touch force intensities of the M instances of touch unlock operations on the basis of the M sets of control parameters; and insofar as the order of touch positions is determined as matching a preset order of touch positions and the order of touch force intensities as matching a preset order of touch force intensities, disarming a screen-locked state. Embodiments of the present invention facilitate increased degree of security and fun in unlocking the mobile terminal.
