Disclosed is a method for generating video file index information, comprising: acquiring prospect targets of video files according to coding sequences generated by decoding the video files; acquiring feature information about the prospect targets of all video frames under the same key frame; matching the prospect targets in every two adjacent video frames under the identical key frame according to the feature information to generate behavior information about the prospect target under the key frame; and generating index information about the video files according to the behavior information of the prospect target under the key frame. Index information in the present application has structural descriptions, and a target video file can be found as quickly as possible according to the index information. |
