A universal flexible fixture comprises a base (7), a phase change material cavity (6) mounted on the base, positioning bodies (4) mounted in the phase change material cavity, clamping bodies (2), and a heat dissipation block (3). A method for using the fixture comprises: connecting a phase change material cavity to a base by means of screws; placing the positioning bodies on the base in the phase change material cavity by means of numerical control positioners, and attracting the positioning bodies to the base by means of bottom permanent magnets (12); placing the clamping bodies on the base in the phase change material cavity by means of numerical control positioners, and attracting the clamping bodies to the base by means of bottom permanent magnets (20); and pouring a phase change material (5) to enable the positioning bodies, the clamping bodies, the phase change material cavity and the base to be fixedly connected together to form a set of fixture. Lengths of the positioning bodies can be continuously adjusted, heights of the clamping bodies can be continuously adjusted, and positions of the positioning bodies and the clamping bodies can be arbitrarily arranged, so as to form a fixture of parts having arbitrary complicated shapes and arbitrary sizes. Parts of the fixture have simple shapes and low manufacturing precision requirements; and the phase change material can be repeatedly used. |
