This slewing bearing 10 is provided with: an inner ring 11 with an inner ring-side rolling element rolling surface 12 on the outer circumferential surface; an outer ring 21, which has an outer ring-side rolling element rolling surface 22 on the inner circumferential surface and is disposed on the outside of the inner ring 11 so that said outer ring-side rolling element rolling surface 22 faces the inner ring-side rolling element rolling surface 12; and multiple rolling elements 31 disposed so as to roll freely in the rolling element rolling path 28 formed by the inner ring-side rolling element rolling surface 12 and the outer ring-side rolling element rolling surface 22. The inner ring 11 or the outer ring 21 is configured by intermixing a press-worked section, the contour shape of which is formed by press-working, and a removal-machined section, which is formed by removal-machining and comprises at least the inner ring-side rolling element rolling surface 12 or the outer ring-side rolling element rolling surface 22. Said configuration makes it possible to provide a slewing bearing with a structure that can be manufactured inexpensively while maintaining a given performance.
