A picture displaying method, apparatus, and terminal device. The method comprises: detecting a viewing instruction inputted by a user for any picture; outputting the picture in response to the viewing instruction; obtaining the generation time of the picture from Exchangeable Image File (EXIF) information of the picture; inquiring whether an audio file with a file name containing the generation time of the picture is stored and outputting the audio file if yes. With implementation of the embodiments of the invention, the user not only can directly obtain a static image from the picture, but also can obtain the ambient audio information of the shooting scene besides the static image, accordingly more memories can be kept for the user and user experience can be improved. |
