The invention relates to a cooling jacket for attaching onto an exterior of an electric machine, comprising a covering element which is arranged at a distance from the cooling jacket such that a coolant space for receiving a coolant is formed between the cooling jacket and the covering element. The cooling jacket has a plurality of cooling ribs which project in the radial direction of the cooling jacket and extend substantially in the circumferential direction of the cooling jacket in the region of the coolant space, said plurality of cooling ribs having at least one local cooling rib recess with at least one supporting element arranged therein for supporting the covering element, which is designed in the form of a sheet. The invention also relates to a hybrid module in which such a cooling jacket is installed.
