PURPOSE:To provide a camcorder which can automatically set the time-related data by a simple operation. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a remote control sensor part 231 which receives the information signal from a remote control device 30 that holds the time/data data, a remote control code buffer 232 which stores temporarily the received time/data data, and a CPU 233 which automatically sets the time/data data on the device main body based on the information stored in the memory 232.
