A liquid crystal display panel (100) and a liquid crystal display device (1000). The liquid crystal display panel (100) comprises a first substrate (10) and a second substrate (20) which are oppositely arranged, a first polarizing layer (30) is arranged on one surface, facing the second substrate (20), of the first substrate (10), and a second polarizing layer (40) is arranged on the second substrate (20). A quantum dot layer (50) is arranged between the first polarizing layer (30) and the first substrate (10), so that light is firstly excited when passing through the quantum dot layer (50), then enters the first polarizing layer (30) and is finally emitted out by the second polarizing layer (40). The liquid crystal display panel (100) has better light transmittance as well as a better image display effect. |
