Provided is a mobile body that moves along a magnetic pole route which has a magnetic pole section and a magnetic pole loss section. The mobile body is provided with: a plurality of linear motors that include a first linear motor which is driven by magnetic interaction with the magnetic flux of the magnetic pole route; a position detection sensor for detecting the position of the mobile body; a first electrical angle detection sensor, disposed at a position different from the position detection sensor in the route direction of the magnetic pole route, for detecting the electrical angle of the first linear motor; and a control unit which, if either the position detection sensor or the first electrical angle detection sensor is positioned in the magnetic pole loss section, concurrently uses the other sensor for performing mobile body position detection and first linear motor electrical angle detection. |
