PACKAGING FILM AND MULTILAYERED FILM FOR PACKAGING

[Problem] To provide a packaging film which is extremely low in absorption/adsorption property and has excellent toughness, and which is suitable for packaging products that contain a volatile medicinal ingredient or a fragrant ingredient. [Solution] A packaging film consisting substantially of a cycloolefin resin and having been biaxially oriented. Preferably, the cycloolefin resin has a glass transition temperature of 60-120ºC. Preferably, the packaging film has a thickness of 5-30 µm. Preferably, the biaxial orientation has been attained by biaxial stretching, and the stretch ratios in the machine direction (MD) and transverse direction (TD) are 1.2-3.0 each.
