The invention relates to a unit (1) for comminuting material by means of a cross-flow shredder (6), having a feeding device (3) for feeding material to be comminuted into the cross-flow shredder (6) and at least one discharging apparatus for discharging the comminuted material, wherein, according to the invention, the unit (1) is embodied in a transportable manner or is able to be combined with transporting means, and the discharging apparatus is able to be transferred from a use position for operation of the cross-flow shredder (6) into an out-of-use position for transporting the unit (1), and from the out-of-use position for transporting the unit (1) into the use position for operation of the cross-flow shredder (6). |
