A playing control method and apparatus for a multimedia playing device in a multimedia playing system. The method comprises: establishing a first communication connection with a first control terminal; establishing a second communication connection with a second control terminal, wherein the second communication connection is different from the first communication connection; and when receiving multimedia data to be played and playing control information which are sent by the second control terminal, comparing priorities of the first communication connection and the second communication connection, and determining whether to play a multimedia file to be played corresponding to the multimedia data to be played according to a comparison result and the playing control information. By means of the technical solution, when different control terminals simultaneously perform playing control on a playing device in a multimedia playing system, the multimedia playing device can process and control conflicts automatically, and can avoid a system error caused by conflicts occurring to the playing control, thereby solving troubles of a user and improving the user experience. |
