Provided is a system change assistance system, comprising a value redefinition means 501 which: carries out a comparison of two vectors, which are configured from combinations of values of a first item which are discrete values in which the quantity of values which may be acquired is finite or less than a prescribed value with values of a second item which are continuous or discrete values in which the quantity of values which may be acquired is greater than or equal to the prescribed value, wherein one of the vectors is the comparand and the other is the vector to which the comparand is compared; and if the values of the first item of the two vectors match and the values of the second item of the two vectors differ, changes the values of the first item of the vector which is the comparand.
