Provided are a pressure pulse wave sensor that is capable of preventing reductions in the detection accuracy of pressure pulse waves due to changes in the use environment, and a biological information measurement device equipped with the same. The pressure pulse wave sensor 1 is equipped with: a sensor chip 10 that is provided with a pressure-sensitive element row 10D formed by a plurality of pressure-sensitive elements S arranged in the X-direction, and a terminal section 10B and a terminal section 10C respectively disposed on both ends in the X-direction of the pressure-sensitive surface upon which the pressure-sensitive element row 10D is formed and electrically connected to the pressure-sensitive element row 10D; and a substrate 11 that is provided with a recess 11A, with the sensor chip 10 fixed to the bottom surface of the recess 11A. A terminal section 11B is provided on the top surface of the substrate 11 adjacent to the terminal section 10B in the X-direction, and a terminal section 11C is provided on the top surface of the substrate 11 adjacent to the terminal section 10C in the X-direction. A wire W1 connecting the terminal section 10B and the terminal section 11B and a wire W2 connecting the terminal section 10C and the terminal section 11C are individually covered by a protective member 13. |
