The present application describes a transmission system which includes a toothed wheel having teeth with a defined profile, and the use thereof. This transmission system improves the guidance of the chain by using a non-standard tooth profile that prevents the chain from disengaging when the vehicle is exposed to extreme situations. This transmission system is used in vehicles, preferably bicycles. |
