The present invention provides an epitope peptide derived from CDCA1 and having a cytotoxic T-cell induction ability. The present invention also provides: a polynucleotide for coding the peptide; an antigen-presenting cell presenting the peptide, and a cytotoxic T-cell for targeting the peptide; and a method for inducing the antigen-presenting cell or the CTL. The present invention further provides a composition containing these as an active ingredient thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition. The present invention also provides a method for treating and/or preventing cancer, and/or preventing a relapse of cancer after surgery, by using the peptide, polynucleotide, antigen-presenting cell, cytotoxic T-cell, or pharmaceutical composition. Furthermore, the present invention provides a method for inducing an immune response against cancer.
