A landing assistance device for an aircraft includes: a landing pad having a passage through which air passes; a wing which is installed to be angle-adjustable on the landing pad; a sensor for sensing a change in the flow of air passing through the passage of the landing pad and for generating a signal; and a controller for controlling the operation of the wing on the basis of the signal generated by the sensor and for moving the wing to a folded position if the change in the flow of air sensed by the sensor exceeds a reference value.
