The present invention addresses the problem of developing a biomarker that can predict sensitivity to oxytocin, and, by using the biomarker, providing a method for predicting sensitivity to oxytocin in a test subject, and a method for estimating the therapeutic effect of oxytocin with respect to an ASD patient before administration of oxytocin. Provided as biomarkers for predicting sensitivity to oxytocin are: a methylation indicative gene including a specific methylation target site that correlates with oxytocin sensitivity; and an oxytocin receptor gene including a specific SNP that correlates with oxytocin sensitivity. |
