An electrochemical device 1 includes: a storage element 5 which has a positive terminal 2, a negative terminal 3, and a plurality of separators 4, the positive terminal 2 and the negative terminal 3 being stacked with the separators 4 interposed therebetween; and an outer container 8 which is formed from a flexible film 7 and houses the storage element 5. The separator 4 comprises an adhesive separator 4a and a heat-resistant separator 4b having a melting point higher than that of the adhesive separator 4a. At least a portion of the adhesive separator 4a is fused to the flexible film 7 which forms the outer container 8. |
