PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for optimizing the build-up resistance of a water-soluble temper rolling liquid.SOLUTION: When the undiluted solution of a water-soluble temper rolling liquid for use in temper rolling in amount of 20 g sampled in a 200 ml egg-shaped flask on a rotary evaporator is heated and distillated at 70°C under a reduced pressure of 2.3 kPa for 1.5 hours, the remaining component has a viscosity of 5000 mPa s to 100000 mPa s, measured with a cone-plate viscometer at 20°C. Alternatively, when the undiluted solution in amount of 20 g sampled in a Petri dish with a diameter of 10 cm is heated in a ventilation constant-temperature dryer at 50°C for 7 hours, the remaining component has a viscosity of 5000 mPa s to 100000 mPa s, measured with a cone-plate viscometer at 20°C. |
