PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump water suction tank capable of effectively restraining air suction vortex.SOLUTION: The pump water suction tank comprises: a tank body 10 defining a flow passage in which flowing water W is circulated toward a pump 40 immersed in the flowing water W; and an upper face layer formation part 20 forming an upper face layer S made on liquid with smaller density than that of the flowing water W on an upper surface of the flowing water W. Preferably, the upper face layer formation part 20 is a liquid supply part 21 for supplying the liquid to the flowing water W. Also, preferably, the liquid supply part 21 supplies the liquid so that the liquid is dropped. |
