The casing has a housing. The housing has housing sections (1) with a worm gear mounted in the housing sections. A drive shaft is mounted in the housing sections. A worm is mounted on the drive shaft, particularly with blinds, roller blinds or canvas blinds. The housing sections are connected with each other. One of the housing sections has one-piece bearing position (2) for the drive shaft.
