PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring sediment in a closed channel, which can measure sediment depth at each place of a closed cross-sectional channel, so as to be used for calculating sediment quantity.SOLUTION: A device 1 for measuring sediment in a closed channel, which measures a sediment depth D at each place of the closed channel in order to calculate sediment quantity S accumulated in a closed cross-sectional channel 2 whose inner size data are known, includes: a floating body 3 floating on a water surface F of the closed channel; height measurement means 4 which is provided to the floating body and which measures a distance between the floating body and a ceiling surface 2b of the closed channel; depth measurement means 5 which is provided to the floating body and which measures a depth P from the floating body to a surface of the sediment; width-direction position measurement means 6 which is provided to the floating body and which measures a distance between the floating body and a side-wall surface 2c in a width direction of the channel; and a cord member which is provided to the floating body and which measures a position of the floating body in a longitudinal direction of the channel by measuring a distance R between the floating body and a measurement starting point in the longitudinal direction of the channel. |
