PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt controller which can properly control the tensile force of a webbing, thereby properly hold an occupant on a seat when a possibility of the collision of a moving apparatus is assumed.SOLUTION: When a seat belt is shifted to a fastened state (S9: YES), a controller executes slack eliminating control for eliminating the slack of a webbing (S11 to S19), and detects webbing takeup states QREB and QPOB representing states of taking up or pulling out the webbing during execution of the slack eliminating control (S12, S13). When the collision of the moving apparatus is assumed, the controller controls the tensile force of the webbing via a motor, based on the detected webbing takeup states QREB and QPOB. |
