PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selenium-containing water treatment method which can efficiently remove soluble selenium in selenium-containing water treatment using a biological treatment method.SOLUTION: A selenium-containing water treatment method includes a biological treatment step of bringing selenium-containing water into contact with biological sludge retained on a porous flow carrier in the presence of organic substances in a facultative anaerobic condition while controlling a retention time to less than 12 hours. |
