PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable suppression of occurrence of a whiplash injury in a headrest without a sliding mechanism and a locking device.SOLUTION: A headrest 2 for a vehicle seat includes a fixed side headrest part 21 as a base, a movable side headrest part 23 which is movable upward and/or downward with respect to the fixed side headrest part, and a headrest cover 27. A connecting area 25 having a joining part 251 which joins at least the fixed side headrest part to the movable side headrest part and a fragile part 253 with a level of rigidity that is lower than that of the joining part is formed inside the headrest cover and between the fixed side headrest part and the movable side headrest part. The fragile part is located at least in a part of an extension of the connecting area, and further, the fragile part is located on the side of the center of the connecting area with respect to at least a part of the joining parts. |
