PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which potential balance among an image carrier, electrifying means, developing means, and transfer means is stable.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes an image carrier 109 located on the movement path of a transfer medium 17, electrifying means 105 electrifying the image carrier 109, developing means 107 carrying a developer and developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the image carrier 109, transfer means 111 transferring a developer image formed on the image carrier 109 to the transfer medium 17, in a position facing the image carrier 109, and an application voltage control part 20 applying a voltage to the image carrier 109, the electrifying means 105, the developing means 107, and the transfer means 111. On the basis of a change amount of the voltage applied to the image carrier 109, the application voltage control part 20 applies a shift voltage obtained by shifting each applied voltage to the electrifying means 105, the developing means 107, and the transfer means 111. |
