PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine which efficiently cools gas passing through a supercharger without enlarging an intercooler.SOLUTION: A vessel engine comprises a second supercharger 24 and an expansion tank 25. The second supercharger 24 supplies air using exhaust gas. The expansion tank 25 has a tank section 25a which stores cooling water and absorbs a volume change of the cooling water due to a temperature increase. In the expansion tank 25, an air supply passage 21c allows gas sent out from the second supercharger 24 to flow therethrough and cools the gas through heat exchange between the gas and the cooling water inside the tank section 25a. |
