PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device in which even when an AF evaluation value does not exhibit an expected change tendency by the effect of an image blur, tracking of a stable focusing position is attained.SOLUTION: It is determined whether a change tendency of blur detected on the basis of a blur amount of a subject image is a specific change tendency in which a focus degree indicative of a focus detection state, which is calculated from an imaging signal, is lowered. When a current focus degree is lower than a threshold value, and a specific change tendency of blur is detected, a correction for increasing the current focus degree is performed, automatic focus detection processing is controlled by using a focus degree after the correction. |
