The application concerns mounting a wall-hung toilet bowl to the wall using a mounting apparatus, which comprises a fixed wedge (1) and a movable wedge (5). The fixed wedge (1) is mounted to a stud bolt (2) extending from the wall. The movable wedge (5) is mounted to the toilet bowl by means of a stay bolt (7), a plastic bushing (8) and a mounting stopper (9). The toilet bowl is then placed on a sheet support (6) which was mounted on an inclined surface (1.2) of the fixed wedge (1) whereby arms (5.1) of the movable wedge (5) engage the fixed wedge (1). After placing the wall-hung toilet bowl, it is pressed towards the wall through tightening the stay bolts (7) located inside of the mounting stoppers (9) due to the slope of the inclined surface (1.2). |
