A veterinary composition is disclosed comprising dimethicone , cyclomethicone and isopropyl myristate, a spot-on device comprising the said composition and the use of the said composition for the treatment of flea infestation. Further disclosed is a method for the preparation of the said composition comprising the steps of (a) mixing dimethicone with cyclomethicone; (b) adding a portion of the total amount of isopropyl myristate and mixing; (c) adding benzyl alcohol and mixing; and (d) adding the remainder of the isopropyl myristate. |
