Measures, including methods, systems and computer program products, for use in processing notifications relating to telecommunication sessions, are described. A cluster of servers is operable to receive incoming notifications where each server can process any given notification and update a store holding records based on previous notifications. The cluster further comprises a timer function to allow the records to be closed when no relevant notifications are received after a timeout interval. The cluster is particularly suitable for processing diameter ACR messages to form CDRs for enabling billing of the telecommunication sessions. When the partial CDRs have not been updated for longer than the session interval, they are prematurely closed and deposited in a persistent data store. |
