摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for electroslag re-melting which provides high-cleanliness steel ingot reduced in non-metallic inclusion and sulfur and is usable in electroslag re-melting, and a method of producing high-nitrogen-content steel.SOLUTION: In an electrode 10 for electroslag re-melting, an electrode body 10A for electroslag re-melting is formed in a columnar shape; and a nitrogen blow-out hole 11 is formed along the central axis of the electrode body 10A for electroslag re-melting and opened at the tip of the electrode body 10A for electroslag re-melting; the nitrogen blow-out hole 11 reaches the inside of a small-diameter columnar type supporting pillar part 10B connected to the other end side of the electrode body 10A for electroslag re-melting, changes the direction and extends to the radial-direction side, and is opened to the side surface of the supporting pillar part 10B, and a nitrogen introduction part 12 is connected to the nitrogen blow-out hole 11 opened to the supporting pillar part 10B.
