PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct gamut distortion caused by intermediate transfer in an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus performs printing by performing intermediate transfer before overlapping a plurality of color materials on a recording medium, and includes: correction parameter calculation means 11 for calculating a correction parameter representing the correction amount to a reference color value of a color value of the color material, for each of the color materials intermediate-transferred to the recording medium; and correction means 4 for correcting the color value of each of the respective plurality of color materials on the basis of the correction parameter of each of the color materials and the color value of the color material overlapped on each of the color materials. With this configuration, the image forming apparatus corrects gamut distortion caused by intermediate transfer. |
