摘要 The device has an enclosure (20) i.e. quartz tube, inside which a to-be heated sample (100) e.g. ceramic pellet or nuclear fuel pellet, is placed. A resistor (60) passes through the sample, and an induction unit i.e. induction coil (31), is placed at periphery of the enclosure to create an electromagnetic field. Another induction unit i.e. transformation coil (32), is connected to the resistor, and captures the electromagnetic field so as to create induced current circulating in the resistor. A thermocouple (61) is provided for temperature measurement. The sample comprises a metal cladding at periphery of the pellet and in direct contact with the pellet. The device includes an insulator made of alumina and hafnium.
